Name: Jamie Lynn Genevieve

Hometown: Bordentown, New Jersey

Current City: Brooklyn, New York / Portland, Oregon

College: The School of Visual Arts

Current Employer / Recent Clients:
Alex Suarez, musician, Cobra Starship, This is Ivy League, GRVRBBRS.
Cris Lankenau, actor, Cold Weather, Quiet City.
Michael Bebout, creative director, Big Ant, Seoul, South Korea.

Favorite project you’ve worked on & why? I like every project. Once I start, I get the same feeling as when I’m starting an amazing book. You become obsessed with it and can neither put it down nor stop thinking of it. Once done, you become sad that its finished. I had a lot of fun preparing for an upcoming project where I had to walk around Williamsburg and Greenpoint, Brooklyn with a dozen balloons on an incredibly freezing, windy day.

What are you doing when you’re not working? I’m a work-oholic and am almost always working with private clients doing either interior design or fine arts. If, on the slight chance, I’m not working, its because I’m either travelling or a friend made me go out. I’m no introvert by any means but I do like to work.

What keeps you motivated on a daily basis? Finding the humor in life, gold teeth and unicorns.

What do you think is a main factor that got you where you are today? The infinite support of my family as well as not taking life very serious.

What do you have coming up for the future:? Projects involving:
Ryland Blackington, musician, Cobra Startship, This is Ivy League, GRVRBBRS.
Nicholas Scimeca, creative director & owner of We Can’t Stop Thinking and Angels & Kings.
Baptiste Chavaillaz, tour manager, Blitzen Trapper.
Richard Barnocky, fine artist.

What would you tell people visiting your city for the first time? Which city? New York- Don’t go to Times Square, ever. Portland- Go to Sassy’s and try not to fall in love with a stripper.

Words of wisdom? “Stay golded” – Richard Barnocky
